What's it all about?
Sunday Morning Bible Class
The middle school students study various Biblical stories and their applications to today's world. Mr. and Mrs. Kublank teach this class which runs Sunday mornings throughout the school year at 9:15 a.m.
The high school students discuss various topical issues, such as "Being a Christian in Today's Society", "Teens vs. Parents" and "Choices". Many of the discussions include video snippets and real-world situations and how the Bible and Jesus' teachings can be applied. This class meets Sunday mornings throughout the school year at 9:30 a.m.
Fun Events!
Throughout the year, we have many cool events for JOY & JYF members and their friends. Recent activities have included paintball, Fright Fest at Six Flags, laser tag, The Amazing Race (Barrington edition), Adventure Retreat with whitewater rafting and our annual ski and water park trip to Wisconsin Dells. Service Projects
Whether it be planting coleus plants for Mother's Day or preparing care packages for our college students or Christmas Caroling to our shut-ins, the youth groups perform a number of service projects each year.
