Summer Mission Team to Teach Vacation Bible School at Trinity Lutheran in New Orleans
July 30 - August 6, 2011

Trinity Lutheran Church - Claiborne was a vibrant ministry for Jesus Christ in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans.  Hurricane Katrina devastated this congregation and the neighborhood around it.  Faithful Christians are helping to rebuild Trinity.
This summer you can help bring Vacation Bible School back to Trinity.
This is an eight-day mission trip to New Orleans - four days of VBS at Trinity Claiborne.  The program includes:
Bible Story Skis and a
Quiz Show
Songs and Prayers
Arts and Crafts

This is an opportunity to share God's love with the children of the Ninth Ward and to rebuild the ministry to Trinity-Claiborne.  While this replaces the annual trip to Mexico, funding and materials will still be provided for Bible school at Santisima Trinidad.

Deadline for registration is April 15, 2011.  Cost is $300 for both youth and adults.

The team will travel by car-caravan both ways with overnight stays in Hernando, Mississippi.
