How to Find St. Matthew-
Follow Route 59 through downtown Barrington to Hillside
Avenue (8 blocks south of Main St.aka Lake-Cook Road). Turn right
(west) on Hillside Avenue, go two blocks. We are on the southwest
corner of Hillside and Dundee Avenues. Access to the church parking
lot can be found just on Tower Road, just south of the church.
From the south:
Follow Barrington Road north until after it is joined
by Route 59. In Barrington this street is known as Hough. Turn left
(west) on Hillside Avenue two blocks. The church is on the southwest
corner of Hillside and Dundee Avenues. Access to the parking lot is
from Tower Road to the south of the church.
From the east:
Follow Lake-Cook Road, aka Main Street, through downtown
Barrington to Dundee Avenue. Turn left (south) on Dundee Avenue eight
blocks. The church is on the southwest corner of Hillside and Dundee
Avenues. Access to the parking lot is from Tower Road to the south
of the church.
From the west:
Follow Lake-Cook Road, aka Main Street, past Barrington
High School to Dundee Avenue. Turn right (south) on Dundee Avenue
eight blocks. The church is on the southwest corner of Hillside and
Dundee Avenues. Access to the parking lot is from Tower Road to the
south of the church.
From Northwest Highway--Route 14 (going northwest):
Turn left (west) from Northwest Highway to Hillside
Avenue. The church is two blocks west of Hough Street on the southwest
corner of Hillside and Dundee Avenues. Access to the parking lot is
from Tower Road to the south of the church.
From Northwest Highway--Route 14 (going southeast):
Turn right (south) from Northwest Highway to Hart
Road. Turn left (east) on Lake-Cook Road, aka Main Street, past Barrington
High School to Dundee Avenue. Turn right (south) on Dundee Avenue
eight blocks. The church is on the southwest corner of Hillside and
Dundee Avenues. Access to the parking lot is from Tower Road to the
south of the church.
