Welcome to St. Matthew Lutheran Church!
We are a community of believers in Jesus Christ that holds steadfast to the teachings of the Bible as the inspired Word of God.  We are affiliated with The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. 

Our Mission
We, the members of the Body of Christ, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, responding to God's love and selfless concern, dedicate ourselves and our congregation to the continual growth of the Body of Christ by unceasing efforts in the following areas:  Worship, Outreach, Education and Stewardship.

Worship
Our worship style can best be described as "joyfully traditional" in that we worship our Lord with reverance and with joy in our hearts.  The Lord's Supper is celebrated at all Sunday morning worship services and on most holidays.

Outreach
As a church body, we are dedicated to the Great Commission of our Lord to "Go and make discipes of all nations."  Our outreach efforts extend from the nearby mission fields of the Barrington-area to such places as the Gulf Coast and the streets of Zaragosa, Mexico and beyond.

Education
We subscribe to Martin Luther's notion that education in God's Word is a lifelong endeavor.  We offer educational ministries for people of all ages and backgrounds, including numerous Bible classes on Sunday mornings and throughout the week.

Stewardship
"To whom much is given, much is expected."  As faithful stewards of God's blessings, we are committed to using our time, talents and treasures to further our Lord's church on earth.
